In accordance with Key to NYC, The Plaza requires all guests 5 years old and above to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination along with your photo ID prior to entering the hotel. The same requirements are applicable to the staff of the venue and hired outside vendors.
A Plaza staff member located on the lobby level will be checking proof of vaccination with a photo ID prior to allowing the guest onto the event floors. Production of any of the following will be sufficient:
– Photo or hard copy of CDC vaccination card
– Photo or hard copy of official vaccination
record of a vaccine administered outside of the US
– NYC COVID Safe App
– NYS Excelsior Pass
All guests are asked to enter & exit The Plaza on the Fifth Avenue & 58th Street entrance.
Please note there are some modifications to hotel operations,
in compliance with New York’s safety ordinance.
Face Masks
Masks must be worn in all public areas and event spaces of the hotel, unless you are sitting and eating. A Comfort Kit, containing masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer are available at the Reception Desk.
Social Distancing
Furniture throughout the public areas of the hotel have been rearranged to facilitate social distancing.
Hand Sanitizing
Hand Sanitizing Stations have been placed in key common areas throughout the hotel.
Coat Check
Guests are encouraged to limit what they need to check at coat check
The Plaza will be utilizing a ticketless coat check system to avoid unnecessary contact
