NYC’s pay transparency law will go into effect November 1, 2022, which will make it an “unlawful discriminatory practice” under the NYC Human Rights Law for an employer to advertise a job, promotion, or transfer opportunity without stating the position’s annual salary or minimum and maximum annual salary range within the listing. WID applauds and supports this law, as it is in line with our mission and is another step toward equal pay for all. All job postings on our Job Board require the ‘Salary’ field to be filled in with dollar amounts in numbers; minimum and maximum ranges can be separated with a dash, thank you.
Posting your open position is easy. If you have a Job Board account, simply click Sign In when you get to the position description page (WID Members, please note this is different from your membership account login and requires creating a different username & password). If you do not have an account, click Sign In, enter an email address as the username & create a password, then click Register. Information will be sent to the email address you provide so you can start posting.
